WE HAVE MOVED!
As of May 2017, our blog is now hosted by the Hypothèses.org platform! You can find us here: https://wfw.hypotheses.org
WHY THIS BLOG?
Welcome to the research blog of the “Projet Horizon” of the Laboratoire d’Etudes et de Recherches sur le Monde Anglophone (LERMA) at Aix-Marseille Université (AMU). Ours is a thoroughly interdisciplinary team of historians, linguists, literature and visual arts specialists (you can view our profiles at the bottom of this page) seeking to explore the question of women’s resistance to feminism in the English-speaking world since the 19th century. You can find both the short and long versions of the argument for our five-year programme (2016-2021) by opening the “What we (want to) do” tab.
Please join our mailing list by clicking on the “Follow” button above so as to keep in touch with the events we shall be planning, in the form of seminars and workshops. Our calendar for 2016 is already particularly exciting with papers by Julie Gottlieb (08/02), Florence Binard (11/04) and Lucy Delap (20/05).
